Mitsubishi Australia has introduced a pair of new special edition Tritons that combine some of the most commonly fitted accessories into ready-made, better-value ensembles.
Arriving in February, the 2026 Mitsubishi Triton GLX-R Special Edition with Tradie Accessory Pack is, as the name suggests, aimed primarily at those who use their ute as a workhorse, with the special edition treatment netting side steps, a tub liner, rubber floor mats, weather shields, bonnet protector and a tow kit.
Another notable change is the deletion of the GLX-R’s signature sports bar in preparation for the fitment of a tonneau cover or canopy.
Those wanting to advertise the fact that their Triton isn’t a core model will also be able to opt for the special edition-exclusive White Diamond premium paint option.

Altogether, the GLX-R Special Edition with Tradie Accessory Pack retails for$58,490 (plus on-road costs) – an increase of just $1250 over the standard GLX-R.
The 2026 Mitsubishi Triton GSR Special Edition with Touring Accessory Pack will also arrive next month, albeit fitted with a black nudge bar, weather shields, bonnet protector, rubber tub mat and a tow kit.
Pricing for this model starts at $66,140, making it $3000 dearer than its donor vehicle and marking a roughly $750 saving over manually speccing the same accessories yourself.

The two new Triton variants are available to order now from dealerships but won’t arrive until next month.
Mitsubishi hasn’t confirmed how long they’ll be available for or if they’re a limited allocation affair.
