Volvo releases Polestar performance upgrades

Volvo’s high-performance division, Polestar, has announced that it will offer power boosts, chassis upgrades, wheels, exhausts and styling enhancements for almost all Volvo models. The parts and tuning are all backed by the Swedish parent brand's normal warranty.

Developed and engineered alongside the 'normal' Volvo models, the performance-enhancing extras were all subject to the rigours of the car maker’s durability tests and are said to benefit from Polestar and its motorsport partner Cyan Racing’s 20 years of motorsport.

While developing the new dealer-fit parts and accessories, Polestar even resorted to putting the old S60 sedan back in the wind tunnel to create a new aero kit and rear diffuser that’s said to now produce “meaningful downforce”.

Sold either individually, or together as a complete package, the Polestar Performance Parts range should be on sale in Australia in the second half of this year.
