VW announces unlimited kilometre warranty
Selected Volkswagen models set to benefit from long-range guaranteeVolkswagen has this week announced an extension to its new-car warranty period for all new Model Year 2011 passenger and commercial vehicles.
The new manufacturer's warranty period is extended to three years and unlimited kilometres, replacing Volkswagen's previous three-year / 100,000 kilometre guarantee.
Some exclusions do apply, with New Beetle, Caddy, Jetta, Passat and Touareg models not adopting the new warranty until their respective updates arrive.
