VW confirms Eos for Oz
Volkswagen's Eos will take on convertible kings, Peugeot's 307CC and Holden's coming Astra TwinTop according to Wheels...Volkswagen's Eos coupe convertible has been confirmed for Australia. Launched at September's Frankfurt motor show, the folding-hardtop four-seater is due on sale here mid-2007.
The decidedly sportier successor to the Golf Cabrio was deemed "most likely" for Australia by VW chairman Wolfgang Bernhard during his surprise visit to Sydney last week for the world-first Australian launch of the Polo GTI.
