Pros
- Smooth and refined touring ride for a ute, in fact it feels more like an SUV with a coil-spring rear
- Gives away little on towing performance to its V6 sibling, but gives slightly better economy
- Towing stability a strong point, with very little shifting around with a heavy trailer attached
Cons
- Not quite as powerful when towing as with the new V6, so what’s an extra $3000?
- The transmission’s manual mode should be a lot less fiddly than it is
- A tow ball is not much to ask for, and Ford should really supply one standard with the tow bar
