Employing a 2.3-litre four-cylinder petrol-based PHEV system with an exclusively-battery range of 49km, the system brings 2.9L100km fuel consumption and 66g/km CO2 emissions. Regular powertrains continue, with single and twin-turbo 2.0-litre diesels and two V6s - a single-turbo diesel for high-spec versions and a Raptor-only twin-turbo petrol. The Ranger offers two or four-wheel drive and safety features include nine airbags, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure and road-edge detection, blind-spot warning and, on pick-ups only, cross traffic alert, a reversing camera and rear parking sensors.
