The 2023 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has received a styling and specification tweak for the new model year, but prices have risen across the range by up to $1000 depending on the variant.
Starting with the good news, 2023 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport GLS, Exceed and GSR models score tyre pressure monitoring as standard.
The GLS and Exceed also add a new Impulse Blue metallic paint colour, while the GSR picks up a Terra Rossa pearlescent option matched exclusively with a black roof that combines with other black body elements on the sports-themed model.
No other noteworthy changes have been made to Mitsubishi’s Triton ute-based three-row 4x4 off-roader that’s now in the twilight years of its current generation.
It continues with a 133kW/430Nm 2.4-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine, driving through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Buyers can choose between 4x2 and 4x4 drivelines, the latter featuring Mitsubishi’s Super Select II four-wheel drive system.
Despite not receiving an upgrade, the entry-level Pajero Sport GLX has risen $500 to now start from $44,940 plus on-road costs in 4x2 guise, whereas the flagship GSR 4x4 has climbed $1000 to $62,440 plus ORCs.
