RAM Trucks Australia has capitalised on one of the world’s biggest TV shows and debuted the 2024 RAM 2500 Yellowstone Edition.
Currently being remanufactured in Clayton like all local RAM products, the Yellowstone Edition has been priced from $177,950 plus on-road costs which puts it right at the top of the Australian 2500 range.
The big rig is based on the one-size-fits-all Laramie trim and sets itself apart via a unique combination of graphics, badges and black exterior trim: Yellowstone tub decals, Yellowstone Edition badges on front doors above the sliding rear window, black badging, mirror casings, grille and 18-inch alloy wheels.
“RAM Trucks have featured heavily throughout each of its five full seasons, so we’re delighted to launch an officially-licensed 2500?Yellowstone?Edition in Australia,” RAM Trucks Australia general manager Jeff Barber said.
“This is the result of many months of negotiations and development work with Paramount, the show producers and affiliates to bring this vehicle to market.”
No changes have been made to the mighty (276kW/1152Nm) 6.7-litre straight-six turbo-diesel engine lurking under the bonnet or the six-speed automatic transmission it’s paired with, nor the platform or suspension.
Other equipment highlights – shared with the rest of the 2500 range – include adaptive cruise control, a 12-inch Uconnect infotainment system, sat-nav, leather upholstery, heated steering wheel, heated and cooled outer front seats and a 60/40 stadium-folding rear bench seat.
RAM Trucks Australia has confirmed the Yellowstone Edition will be offered in limited numbers but not specified exactly how many units will roll off the Walkinshaw Automotive production line.
