2025 Hyundai Venue gets price bump

Hyundai Australia has announced a $250 price rise for its smallest SUV, the Venue.

Announcing the four variant 2025 Hyundai Venue line-up will carry over from 2024 unchanged, the base manual variant now starts from $22,750 (+$250) plus on-roads.

Remaining Australia’s second-cheapest SUV, the Venue is still pipped to the most affordable top step by the even smaller Suzuki Ignis which opens at $21,490.

In the light SUV segment, despite their low prices, both the Venue and bargain basement Ignis were both comprehensively outsold in 2024.

While an impressive 6949 Venues found homes last year, the Hyundai had to make do with fourth in the sales charts behind the ever-dominant Mazda CX-3 (18,461), Suzuki Jimny (9697) and Toyota Yaris Cross (8206).

The latest $250 price bump for the Hyundai Venue follows a similar $500 increase last year.

Like before, all versions of the Venue feature a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 90kW/151Nm, paired with either a six-speed manual (base) or a six-speed automatic transmission.

All versions come with AEB, lane keep assist, fatigue detection, front-, side- and curtain airbags, with the base model riding on 15-inch alloy wheels and getting a wireless phone charger, an 8.0-inch infotainment and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Active trim adds rear parking sensors, 17-inch alloys, LED daytime running lamps, a six-speaker sound system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever, plus power-fold mirrors and different more supportive seats.

The Elite throws in LED rear lamps, climate control, blind-spot monitoring, rear-cross traffic alert, Bluelink connected services, sat-nav and a DAB radio, sunroof and keyless entry.
