Next-gen Hyundai Venue spotted on road

Korean brand’s second-generation compact SUV shapes up ahead of November reveal

The News

The next-generation Hyundai Venue small SUV has been photographed overseas in all its uncamouflaged glory, ahead of its official unveiling in just a few weeks.

The Key Details

  • Next Hyundai Venue spotted on road overseas, sans camouflage
  • New small SUV gains Hyundai’s latest design language
  • Global debut set for November 4
  • Unlikely to arrive in Australia anytime soon

The Finer Details

The Hyundai Venue 2025 is currently one of the most affordable SUVs in Australia, but prices are almost certain to rise, with the all-new compact SUV breaking cover this week, sporting new angles, a refreshed exterior and more tech.

But there’s good and bad news.

The good news is, prices aren’t due to rise dramatically anytime soon, because – and this is the bad news – the images you see here are of a prototype model for the Indian market and the new Venue – which will be sourced direct from Korea – isn’t likely to arrive Down Under for several more years.

Hyundai’s answer to the Mazda CX-3, Toyota Yaris Cross and Kia Stonic – at least for India – will make its global unveiling on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 but we’ve got a pretty good idea of how it’ll shape up, thanks to recent images shared by Korean Car Blog.

The next-gen Hyundai Venue sports a similar front end to the larger Palisade SUV, with a new set of stacked headlights, along with a full-width light bar and fresh bumper and grille.

The rear end also gets a horizontal light bar connecting a new set of taillights, while a new rear bumper features, along with an entirely resculpted body makes the boxy little SUV appear wider at the rear haunches.

It also features new roof rails, body-coloured C-pillar inserts with Venue lettering, and a redesigned boot lid with a more prominent spoiler. The entire package sits on a fresh alloy wheel design.

Inside, a pair of 10.25-inch digital displays feature in what appears to be a more modern-looking cabin, which pairs Hyundai’s latest badge-less steering wheel with a basic cloth interior.

The Road Ahead

Considering the Venue only touched down in Australia in 2019, the current model is set to continue for a few more years yet, before it’s due for replacement with the second-gen model Venue.

Australian pricing for the 2025 Hyundai Venue rose earlier this year, then again last month, with a current starting price of $23,000 before on-road costs, which sees it continue on as one of the cheapest SUVs in its category.
