2025 MINI Convertible: Full Australian details

Fourth-gen droptop will land in the second quarter of next year

Full pricing and specification details of the 2025 MINI Convertible have been announced ahead of its Q2 Australian release, with the most affordable version starting from $51,990 plus on-road costs.

All seven inbound variants are powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and drive the front wheels via seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, irrespective of the trim level or outputs.

The entry-level C is good for 120kW/250Nm and is offered in Classic (from $51,990) or Flavoured guises ($54,990), marking a $990 price increase over the previous ragtop MINI.

For those who want more power, the S offers 150kW/300Nm, with the Classic priced from $56,990 while the Flavoured asks $59,990.

The JCW Sport employs the same engine tune but starts from $61,990 on account of its additional sporty appointments.

At the top of the tree is the full-fat 170kW/380Nm JCW which, like its three-door sibling, is available in Classic ($64,990) and Flavoured ($67,900) forms.

Against the clock, the slowest C goes from 0-100km/h in 8.2 seconds, the S in 6.9 seconds and the JCW in 6.4.

Equipment highlights on the Classic trim include adaptive cruise control, a six-speaker sound system, heated front sport seats, a wireless phone charger and a 9.4-inch round OLED infotainment interface offering wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Choose the Flavoured grade and MINI throws in a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, JCW front seats with electric adjust and a Union Jack-themed soft top.

The flagship JCW meantime gets a Classic trim that includes a 12-speaker sound system, while the Flavoured gets grippier performance tyres.

The new MINI Convertible is scheduled to touchdown in Australian dealers in Q2 of 2025.
