Hyundai Australia has expanded its local Palisade range, but not via the upcoming XRT Pro. Instead, the Calligraphy Black Ink joins the range as a luxury flagship above the standard Calligraphy, albeit covered in black exterior apparel.

That circa-$92K starting price – excluding on-road costs – puts the Black Ink $2572 upstream of the regular Calligraphy, with the extra cash netting buyers the following black cosmetic upgrades: 21-inch wheels, grille and grille surround, belt line, badging, roof rails, bumper elements, window surrounds, metallic interior trim and the Nappa leather upholstery.
Other than that, there’s no difference between the Calligraphy and the Black Ink seeing as they use the same passive suspension setup, all-wheel drive system and 245kW 2.5-litre turbo-hybrid powertrain – though the Black Ink is only available in black or white.
Both trims are available with a seven-seat option which replaces the second-row bench with a pair of captain’s chairs for an extra $1000.

This is the third Palisade trim to be offered in Australia, following on from the original Calligraphy and the more affordable Elite, with the all-terrain XRT Pro still to come later this quarter.
How much does the 2026 Hyundai Palisade cost?
Elite – $76,500
Calligraphy – $89,828
Calligraphy Black Ink – $92,400
* Prices exclude on-road costs
