Production has commenced for Aston Martin's highly anticipated luxurious new grand tourer, the DB-11.
The DB-11 is the spearhead for Aston Martin's new 'Second Century Plan', the iconic car maker's master plan to transform itself – a 103-year old company – into a 21st century brand.
Following the DB-11 will be seven other cars in the grand plan, including a new crossover and maybe even a fully electric vehicle.
Aston Martin President and CEO, Dr Andy Palmer, who will personally inspect the first 1000 DB-11s to roll of the production line, said: "It's an exciting moment for the entire company when the first car of a new model goes into production. The DB11 is a special car and it heralds the start of a new and exciting era for Aston Martin."
The DB-11 promises to be a great success for Aston Martin, with the Gaydon based manufacturer already taking 3000 orders from excited customers.
