Madhouse German tuning company BRABUS has unleashed its latest power upgrade kit for the Euro-market Mercedes-Benz C 450 4MATIC (due in Australia this year)... and it even comes with a warranty.
The BRABUS PowerXtra B30-410 upgrade can be applied to either sedan or wagon and adds an extra 32kW to proceedings for a total of 302kW.
This is backed up by 570Nm (up 50Nm) and gives the all-wheel drive vehicle a 280km/h top speed. The sedan hits 100km/h in 4.6sec.
These increases have been achieved via a plug-and-play tuning module tailor-made for the 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine. It alters operating parameters for fuel injection and ignition timing, while mildly increasing boost pressure.
Additionally available for C-Class is a sports quad-exhaust system with actively-controlled butterflies, Monobloc 19-inch alloys and a range of bespoke interior options.
Outside there are several aero enhancements, including a front spoiler that attaches to the OEM front bumper. It sports a central blade and shapely outer sections to reduce lift. Out the back there's a diffuser and an optional carbon spoiler for the sedan version.
The interior can also be adapted to taste, with items such as breathable leather or Alcantara trim, aluminium pedals, wood or carbon fibre finishes and backlit BRABUS scuff plates among the highlights.
BRABUS even warranties its work, with a three year, 100,000km warranty available on the modded C 450 4MATIC.
