SUVs and light commercial vehicles continue to be a dominant force in the Australian marketplace, and Peugeot and Citroen importer Inchcape Automotive is targeting both segments with its latest round of offers.
In the top-selling mid-size SUV segment, the 2022 Citroen C5 Aircross Shine automatic is currently available for $54,990 drive-away instead of its usual asking price of $52,300 plus on-road costs.
The deal is further sweetened by the inclusion of metallic paint as standard, potentially saving customers another $690 off an invoice that would normally be much higher if on-road costs such as registration, stamp duty and compulsory third-party insurance weren’t thrown in.
Beyond its funky French looks, the Citroen C5 Aircross Shine is motivated by a 121kW/240Nm 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Over at Peugeot, ABN holders are being looked after with a $2000 factory bonus on the 2022 Peugeot Boxer Pro LWB manual, which drops the manufacturer’s recommended retail list price down to $52,527 plus ORCs.
The Boxer large van sits at the top of Peugeot’s commercial vehicle stable, with the mid-size Peugeot Expert slotting in underneath.
Hyundai is also pushing hard to boost sales in the final quarter of this year, and the Hyundai i30 is a chance to take top honours in the small hatch and sedan segment.
Helping its cause is an offer on the entry-level 2022 Hyundai i30 hatch automatic, which is currently available for $27,990 drive-away.
That compares to a regular list price of $25,720 plus on-road costs, marking a considerable saving that will vary depending on your purchase location.
