The new-generation Isuzu MU-X has just arrived on the local market and the importer is offering a sensational deal on the flagship variant in the range, the Isuzu MU-X LS-T 4x4.
Listed at $65,990 plus on-road costs, the range-topping 2021 Isuzu MU-X with seven seats and four-wheel drive is currently selling for just $63,990 on the road as an introductory offer.
So that’s $2000 off the price and the registration, stamp duty and compulsory third-party charges thrown in gratis.

If you need a dual-cab ute rather than an SUV, there’s a very similar offer available on the Ford Ranger XLS 4x4 dual-cab pick-up with 3.2-litre engine and automatic transmission.
The manufacturer’s retail list price for this variant is $52,490, but Ford dealers will let you drive one away from the yard for just $50,490. You get the on-road charges paid by Ford and a $2000 discount.
If neither the Isuzu nor the Ford suit your purposes, how about a light hatch like the Kia Rio S auto.

This entry-level variant in the range is affordable as it stands, at a price of $21,390. But for just $100 more – $21,490 – Kia will pay the stamp duty, register the car and cover you for third-party insurance as well.
It’s not a lot for a car with most of the creature comforts many drivers – including younger first-time owners – are likely to want, plus that important seven-year warranty.
