Honda Australia has announced its 2006 dealer awards. The awards were presented recently at a ceremony held at the Palazzo Versace Hotel on the Gold Coast.
Honda's 2006 Dealer of the Year was Rick Damelian Honda. It was the fourth time the NSW dealership -- claimed to be Australia's largest Honda dealership -- has taken out the overall honours.
Senior Director Lindsay Smalley said the Dealer of the Year award underlines Honda's strong and dedicated commitment to the customer.
"It's a tough job to be the best of the best and for Rick Damelian Honda to win a fourth time shows their dedication to being the best," Smalley said.
The Parramatta Road, Leichhardt dealership has previous won the award in 1999, 2001 and 2004.
Orange (NSW) based dealership Ian Parker Honda was awarded overall Rural Excellence award.
The Honda awards see dealerships assessed in the categories of New Car Sales Excellence, Service Excellence, Parts and Accessories Excellence and Overall Excellence to determine the winner.
