DETROIT MOTOR SHOW: Honda teases Precision Concept

New sports sedan will point towards the future design direction of premium US-brand, Acura

Honda has teased a single image of an all new concept it will reveal next month at the Detroit motor show.

Call the Acura Precision Concept, the sport sedan is said to hint at the styling and proportions of the next-generation sedans for the Japanese car-maker’s premium brand.

Talking about the importance of the new concept Acura design chief, Dave Marek said: “The Acura Precision Concept will signal the stronger and sharper focus of Acura styling on our core DNA we call 'precision crafted performance’”.

It’s thought the Precision Concept will herald a line of more overtly sporty Acura sedans in the future that could be rebadged as ‘Hondas’ and sold in other markets.

Expect more teases from Honda in the next coming weeks before its official reveal.
