Mahindra has announced a new limited-edition version of its seven-seat Mahindra XUV700 that brings blacked-out interior and exterior styling and extra standard kit for just $43,990 drive-away.
Available to order now, with deliveries beginning before the end of this year, the 2025 Mahindra XUV700 Black Edition joins the Scorpio Black Edition that was introduced earlier this month and shares many of that SUV's upgrades, including a black grille, black 18-inch alloy wheels and a black interior that includes new ventilated seats.
There's also a full-width panoramic roof, while inside dual 10.25-inch screens take pride of place and incorporates an infotainment that includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Other exclusive kit included in the Black Edition are handy electric mirrors that link with your seat's memory position, saving the driver having to readjust the mirrors every time their partner has spent time behind the wheel.
Safety levels are high and include seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, the car-maker's latest autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition and high-beam assist which are all standard.
Under the bonnet the XUV700 Black Edition comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 149kW and 380Nm of torque and is combined with a six-speed automatic but is front-wheel drive.
Joining the more rugged Mahindra Scorpio Black Edition 4x4, that sells here for $41,990 drive-away, Mahindra has not confirmed how many Mahindra XUV700 Black Editions it will import, nor how long it will be on sale for in Australia.
