Forget curing cancer... donate to repair crashed Ferrari

Or that’s what one man hopes you'll do as he tries to crowd-fund the $300K repair of his 'Ring-wrecked 458

Crashing your uninsured Ferrari 458 Italia at Germany's Nurburgring is the stuff of nightmares, but one enterprising victim of The Green Hell is hoping fellow car enthusiasts will feel sorry for him and foot the $300,000 bill repair bill.

For ‘just’ $6 per square centimetre you could have a picture of your choice plastered on the repaired car and be in for the chance of living with the black 458 Italia for a month -- or $7000 worth of hire car vouchers if you live outside of Europe.

The mysterious owner, who hasn’t revealed his identity, says the repaired car will then tour car festivals where your pic or ad will be seen by thousands.

To cover the cost of the substantial repairs, 50,000 pics need to be sold and uploaded before being printed on a vinyl wrap and plastered on the repaired car. Late last night the owner was on the way to raising his $300,000 following the sale of 30 pictures.
