GENEVA MOTOR SHOW: Toyota i-Road concept

Toyota is set to whip the covers of the i-Road, an environmentally friendly two-seat concept
An eco-friendly sports car with tandem seats and skinny wheels is not the sort of mass-market offering we've come to expect of Toyota.
Yet that is what the automotive giant plans to unveil in Geneva next month. Toyota has issued a press release for the two-seat city car concept it calls i-Road, along with a teaser image of the car, taken from an elevated view.
Toyota is saying little about the vehicle other than to call it “a compact, fun and emissions-free personal mobility concept capable of swiftly and efficiently transporting two people in an urban environment.”
It being “emissions free”, we presume the drivetrain is an all-electric affair of one kind or another, rather than a PHEV.
The shot shows what appears to be a slimline, tandem-seated affair with skinny, semi-open front wheels, a single headlight and a heavily raked but relatively flat windscreen.
