We've previously reported on the Arash AF-10, and now the ultra-niche British sportcar specialist has released fresh pics and details of its proposed Ferrari rival.
Not a whole lot has visibly changed in the last two years, but the car has now been pushed through a 3D modelling programme, which suggests it's one step closer to emerging as a production reality.
As previously reported, the car's propulsion comes from a Corvette Z06-sourced LS7 7.0-litre V8 that kicks out a brawny 410kW and 645Nm. Drive will be relayed to the rear wheels by a six-speed Graziano GT-ME1 transmission.
There's allegedly even more performance in store further down the track, as Arash has previously made noises about investigating the possibility of slotting in the Corvette ZR1's 6.2-litre supercharged V8, as well as a sequential gearbox.
The edgy Lotus-esque bodyshell clothes a composite chassis, and weight is said to have been kept down (to around the 1200kg mark) via extensive use of carbonfibre and aluminium honeycomb. Plastic windows are used at the back, while front and side windows are laminated glass.
The AF-10 rides on beefy Michelin Pilot rubber measuring 265/35 in front, and 335/30 in the rear, and these in turn are wrapped around custom two-piece aluminium wheels (19-inchers at the front and 20s at the rear). Peeping through the spokes are ventilated ceramic discs and AP Racing brake calipers (eight-piston front, six-piston rear).
Arash is yet to make an announcement about a launch date, but the company is believed to be targeting a pricetag around the £170k mark ($300k in our money) in the UK.
Company founder Arash Farboud has been involved in the low-volume sportscar scene for a decade, having established Farboud Sports Cars in 1998. Apparently, this move was prompted by Porsche's refusal to sell Farboud a GT1 road car.
