Hofele Design has released full details of its Ultimate HG, a modified version of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class with luxury turned up to 11.
Created to be a 4x4 alternative to a Rolls-Royce Phantom or Mercedes-Maybach S 650, the Ultimate HG proudly sports a pair of rear-hinged 'coach doors' that grants access to perhaps the most luxurious G-Wagen cabin of all time.
Now featuring the finest Nappa leather and Alcantara, the Benz G-Wagen incorporates a pair of reclining rear seats that are heated, ventilated and offer a massage function – all controlled via a touch-screen.
In the centre console, meanwhile, there's new wireless chargers.
In what's left of the luggage space, the G-Class sports a piano black lacquered wood floor finished with aluminium trim.
Outside, it's hard not to miss the changes over the standard Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen.
There's a set of huge 23-inch turbine rims and a new chrome front grille, plus a two-tone paint-job.
Other stylistic additions include roof-mounted LEDs and handy electric folding running boards.
Pricing has yet to be announced for what is described as the "Ultimate G-Wagen", but the level of craftsmanship, materials, plus engineering involved in switching to rear-hinged doors suggest a six-figure price on top of the already-substantial $259,235 (plus on-road costs) charged for the Mercedes-AMG G 63.
