HYPERDRIVE: Lamborghini to reveal new hypercar at Pebble Beach?
Rumour mill goes into overdrive as US mag reports Italian supercar-maker is readying 600kW million-dollar surpriseLamborghini will reveal a successor to the Reventon and Vaneno hypercars at next month's Pebble Beach concours event, according to one US mag.
Based on the Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce, Motortrend says the new hypercar will have more power, less weight, a radical new aero kit and a pricetag upwards of $2.5 million.
According to the US mag, sources close to Lamborghini told it that the firm would make its new special-edition hypercar in tiny numbers -- just 20 coupes and 10 roadsters, which will be revealed later.
Despite this information Lamborghini has denied all rumours and so far has confirmed it will launch only the roadster version of the Aventador LP750-4 SV at Pebble Beach.
