Hyundai Getz Click

Limited edition light car from Hyundai will 'click' with buyers

'Snap, crackle and pop' were already taken, so Hyundai settled instead on 'Click' for the short and sharp name of the company's new value-added Getz models.

On sale as of yesterday, the Getz Click features 14-inch alloy wheels, unique badging and upholstery, chrome interior door handles and a brushed alloy veneer for the dashboard.

The steering wheel is bound in leather and features remote controls for the audio system. Standard air conditioning comes with a pollen filter and other standard features include electric windows and mirrors.

Buyers can go with the 1.4-litre engine or opt for the 1.6-litre unit and get ABS and EBD thrown in.

The Getz Click is available in three colours, Noble White, Midnight Grey and Sky Blue.

Hyundai's aim with the limited edition model is to appeal to fashion-conscious buyers. To this end, the Getz Click is offered with a number of accessories. A body kit is priced at $1789, which doesn't include painting or installation, and a matching rear spoiler can be specified for $356.

Fog lights cost an extra $391, carpet mats fetch $99 and a chrome exhaust tip can be had for $33. Metallic paint is a $300 ex-factory option.

Prices for the Getz Click start from $14,490 for the 1.4-litre three-door manual. The automatic transmission option is a further $2000 and the 1.6-litre engine option costs $1000 more.
