Keeping up with the Kardashians' cars: Five we’d happily drive
Money does not buy good taste, as the Kardashian family have regularly demonstrated. What money can buy, however, is really good cars – they’ve also demonstrated this.The youngest reality-stars of the larger-than-life Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, boast an envious line-up that leaves us with a major car-crush. And because car-candy is always a good thing, here’s a top five.
Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster
The stealth-like Lamborghini Aventador doesn’t immediately spring to mind when you think about a family car, but luckily for Kylie it’s not her sole ride. An orange naturally aspirated V12 Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster is not only blisteringly fast (0-100km/h in 2.9sec), it also proves the perfect backdrop for many, many a carefully curated Instagram post.
Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon
Because every new mum needs an SUV, right? The SUV-slaying Mercedes-Benz’s G-Wagon is a family favourite (at least three in the hood), Kylie takes stock of a black G-Wagon which she recently had wrapped ‘just for summer’ to match her Lamborghini Aventador. Powered by a mere V8, it ain’t the fastest ride in the garage, but how’s that practicality?
Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta
As far as new whips are concerned, a Ferrari LaFerrari kinda tops the charts. And that’s exactly what Kylie Jenner reportedly got as a push present from rapper baby-daddy Travis Scott. The limited-edition black on red Ferrari LaFerrari boasts a 6.3-litre V12 engine that delivers a 0-200km/h time of less than seven seconds. She be hurrying.
Range Rover
Universally elite while actually attainable, the Range Rover is also a popular choice for the self-made millionaire (one soon to be billionaire) sisters. Kenny got a Range Rover for her 16th birthday (shunning the Tiffany necklace) and modern girl Kylie bought herself one at age 19. They’re just normal girls, really.
Corvette Stingray
In true fashionista style, Kendall has a penchant for a vintage find, too. Often seen cruising through Beverley Hills in a fully restored 1957 Corvette Stingray convertible, this supermodel appreciates a classic ride. With a pristine Cascade Green exterior and beige leather interior, this is a stand out in an enviable stable of modern marques. Girl got swagger.
