Lamborghini has rolled out the one-off Lamborghini Huracan STO SC 10 Anniversario that pays tribute to 10 years of its Squadra Corse motorsport division.
Painted a lurid Verde Mantis green with contrasting Nero Noctis black elements, the commemorative Lamborghini Huracan STO SC 10 Anniversario matches the same livery as the Squadra Corse’s own Lamborghini S63 hybrid racer that will fight for victory at next year’s Le Mans 24 Hour endurance race.
Other nods to the racing division include the 10th anniversary numbered door roundels and striking Rosso Mars red stripe on the leading edge of the carbon-fibre aero parts.
The special track-focused Huracan STO also gets the Squadra Corse emblem on its dorsal fin that runs from the roof scoop to the large rear spoiler.
Inside, there’s Nero Ade black Alcantara seats with Verde Fauns green stitching.
As standard, the motorsport-inspired Lambo also comes with four-point race harnesses, an aluminium roll bar and a carbon-fibre floor cover.
Cementing the connection with Squadra Corse, Lamborghini invited the motorsport division’s engineers to create a performance kit.
The result is the Huracan STO gets a new set of carbon-fibre flicks added to the bonnet, while the rear wing angle has been tweaked by three degrees for even more downforce than the 450kg the standard car musters at 280km/h.
Beneath the skin, the already extreme Huracan STO gets race-car-derived suspension that includes four-way adjustable dampers that have been developed alongside a new Bridgestone tyre.
Finally, the Squadra Corse engineers have worked with Akrapovic to create a new sports exhaust.
It’s not known if the already angry 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 makes any more power over the punchy 470kW and 565Nm of torque produced in the standard car.
Neither Lamborghini nor Squadra Corse have released pricing for the one-off Lamborghini Huracan STO SC 10 Anniversario, but the new performance kit might be offered to existing STO owners in future.
The anniversary model could be one of the last current-generation Huracans off the line at Sant’Agata, following the announcement that an all-new replacement will go on sale before the end of 2024.
There’s no official details on what will power the next-gen Lambo supercar but it’s hotly tipped to come with an electrified V8 in place of the current car’s naturally-aspirated V10.
