Lexus adds more Encore aftersales benefits

If exclusive experiences and luxurious benefits are high on your list of priorities as a new car owner, Lexus has given buyers even more reason to choose one of its cars.

In January, the Japanese manufacturer announced a host of updates to its Encore Owner Benefits program, including capped-price servicing for all new vehicles and a range of exclusive activities available to members.

Now, Lexus has added even more to its Encore membership program, including a new Platinum tier for those buying flagship (LX, LC, LS) or high-performance (RC F and GS F) Lexus models.

Buyers of other models including the Lexus CT, UX, IS, NX, ES, GS and RC will have access to Lexus Encore offers, excluding Encore Platinum.

A new Lexus App will allow members to view a virtual ‘garage’, view and change On Demand bookings (including loan period, collection and return location and times) and access fuel discounts and parking vouchers.

Lexus says a rolling update to the app with also include offers such as golf days, track days, dining nights and wellness experiences.

Additional benefits exclusive to Encore Platinum members include valet parking at select Westfield Shopping centres and Chadstone Shopping Centre in Victoria.

Lexus says there is no need to pre-book, with owners able to redeem up to eight valet parking vouchers over their three-year membership, as well as getting up to three hours of complimentary parking.

Those with a top-tier Platinum membership also get Lexus on Demand, a feature that lets owners reserve and sample a different Lexus vehicle of their choice via the new Lexus App, up to four times over the three years.

That means customers can book a vehicle from the Lexus on Demand fleet – which includes most Lexus models, with a focus on RX, RC F, GS F, LX, LC and LS – to best suit their needs.

Lexus says, for example, that owners of a flagship LS limousine may require a Lexus RX L if they need a vehicle with seven seats; or they could opt for an LC for a couple’s weekend away instead.

Cheaper fuel is also now available to all Encore members, with five cents per litre off premium unleaded and diesel fuels at participating Caltex service stations. To access the discount, members must have the Lexus App available to scan when paying for fuel.
