Rodeo gets Zed

Holden has launched a special edition Rodeo LTZ

Keen to clip the wings of Nissan's Navara and the Toyota HiLux, which lead the LCV sales race, Holden has beefed up its Rodeo offering with three crewcab LTZ Special Editions.

Now available, the LTZs boast up to $4000 worth of extra value on each of the two 4x4 variants, petrol and turbodiesel, and $2000 on the single 4x2 petrol model, says Holden. The offer is current until the end of the financial year (June 30, 2007).

The LTZs feature an exterior upgrade pack that includes badging, chrome Nudge and Sports bars plus side steps and soft tray cover. The 4x4 models also include aircon as standard.

All standard Rodeo LT colours are available on the LTZs including Sterling Silver, Tornade Red, Imperial Blond, Black Sapphire Black, Light Quartz Grey and Alpine White.

Auto and manual versions of all three variants are offered.

Metallic colours are $300 extra and Special Edition Rodeo LTZ pricing kicks off with the LTZ 4x2 V6 petrol Crewcab from $31,990.

Year-to-date April, the Rodeo has sold just 2473 4x4 models. This compares to almost 8000 units for the Nissan for the same period and over 7200 in the case of HiLux.

Rodeo LTZ pricing

  • LTZ 4x2 V6 petrol Crewcab pickup -- $31,990 (man); $33,990 (auto)
  • LTZ 4x4 V6 petrol Crewcab pickup -- $39,490 (man); $41,490 (auto)
