Volkswagen Group Australia (VGA) has announced a new five-year care package in response to the increasing cost of living being inflicted across the country, potentially saving commercial vehicle buyers up to $1825 in servicing costs.
Applying to any new Volkswagen commercial vehicle purchased before June 30, the new ‘5 Year Care Plan’ is essentially an extension of the existing three-year plan but without any additional cost.
Owners of a range of Volkswagen models stand to make significant savings, for example: Caddy $1448; Transporter/Multivan $1739; Caravelle $1539; Crafter $1621, Amarok up to $1825 depending on the engine.
According to Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand director Ryan Davies, the servicing offer “demonstrates that cut-price servicing and driving… [a] European vehicle are not mutually exclusive”.
“Our commercial vehicle owners have been among the hardest hit with rising fuel prices, while customers of new vehicles have been incredibly patient while we work through some supply constraints – this is our way of helping,” he said.
Owners of VW passenger vehicles and SUVs are being taken care of too with the Volkswagen T-Cross Life and Style being treated to a complimentary 3 Year Care Plan when newly purchased and financed with Volkswagen Financial Services before June 30.
The same offer is available for the new Volkswagen Golf Life and R-Line, if purchased and financed in-house September 30.
Meantime, those looking at purchasing either a new Volkswagen Arteon or Volkswagen Touareg before the end of the financial year will score a free 5 Year Care Plan, but again only if it’s financed through Volkswagen Financial Services.
Pre-owned-vehicle buyers are being catered for as well through the rollout of the especially wordy ‘2 Essentials Services Free when you purchase a 4 year 4Plus Care Plan’ offer.
In short, the 2ESFWYP4YA4PCP package halves the servicing costs on vehicles older than four years old or has covered more than 60,000km and is due for its fourth service.
Volkswagen Australia’s passenger vehicles chief Michal Szaniecki said the new and pre-owned vehicle servicing offers reassure customers the brand still cares for them during their ownership experience.
