Will Smith turns his hand to car racing and it's impressive

Will Smith's Bucket List Facebook Watch series follows the Hollywood star’s adventures as he travels the globe taking on insane challenges, overcoming obstacles and “punches fear in the mouth”. Yikes.

The latest episode (and the reason why we are writing about this) sees the Men in Black star fresh from waving the checkered flag at the Abu Dhabi GP decide to try his hand at car racing himself. His eldest son Trey apparently is a big car fan and accepts the challenge laid out by Will to settle once and for all who the is the “fastest Smith” at the famed Yas Marina Formula 1 circuit.

Will Smith being the Hollywood heavyweight he is calls in a favour with five time F1 world champion and Hollywood wannabee, Lewis Hamilton and asks him to “teach me to drive like a racing driver”. Lewis accepts and gives Will an insight into the mindset and approach of a professional driver, "You've got to let go of all your fears and just have complete trust in your ability and knowing that you're gonna make the turn some way, somehow."

Each Smith gets three laps to deliver their best time in a Mercedes-Benz AMG GT with the winner taking home a massive oversized cup and bragging rights forever. Classic family rivalry. Before the race, Will takes a moment to get real and reflect on what's about to happen "I just feel some kind of way about it... It's like, your mother thinks I'm dangerous with the kids."...and boy is she right!

It is a little unfair that Will Smith decided to let his eldest son race on the world class circuit while his other son, Jaden has been seen working at Aussie supermarket Woolworths promoting a range of ethical water in a cardboard box bottle.
