Midsize Luxury Cars

Buyers of mid-size luxury cars want a vehicle that provides all the trappings of comfort and status, in a package that will accommodate the whole family (or friends, in the case of single buyers). These vehicles typically seat up to five, although the comfort and luxury appointments are at their optimal best for four occupants, including the driver. Mid-size luxury cars wearing a prestige badge are popular choices, but the category is not limited to prestige vehicles.

1. Jaguar E-PACE

The Jaguar E-PACE is a small luxury SUV with a sporty design that shares its underpinnings with the Range Rover Evoque. As the top-selling Jag in Australia, the Jaguar E-PACE competes against the Audi Q3, BMW X1, Volvo XC40 and Mercedes-Benz GLA SUVs. The five-door, five-seat premium SUV is priced from around $60,000 in Australia and was introduced here in 2018. Slotting in below the F-PACE, the Jaguar E-PACE is powered by a range of combustion engines, petrol and diesel. With a name like E-PACE it might sound like an EV, but that role is occupied by the Jaguar I-PACE.
