Ram Truck Australia has added a new Rebel off-road specialist to its facelifted 1500 line-up, with the first examples due in local showrooms next month.

The Finer Details
The 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel is the most capable version of Stellantis’ updated full-sized pick-up truck offered here so far, despite being the equal cheapest.
It complements the above hardware with extra underbody protection (front cross-member, transfer case, fuel tank), steel bumpers that yield improved off-road angles (20.9 approach, 22.2 departure), a locking rear differential and a more intimidating demeanour.
The upgraded suspension provides a one-inch lift on top of improving articulation and ride comfort off-road, while the 32-inch Falken Wildpeaks encase black 18-inch alloys instead of the Laramie Sport’s 20s.
Standard equipment highlights include a spray-in bed liner, powered tailgate, a 98-litre fuel tank, LED headlights, a 19-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, panoramic sunroof, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, 14.4-inch infotainment screen, 10.25-inch front passenger touchscreen, dual wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, traditional and adaptive cruise control and a rearview camera.
Three colours are available: Bright White, Flame Red, Hydro Blue.
The braked towing capacity is unchanged at 4500kg when using a 70mm tow ball, while the official payload is 893kg.
The Road Ahead
The Rebel’s arrival will coincide with Ram Trucks Australia’s 10th birthday, with the variant more than likely to become a permanent member of the local line-up – this is the first time the nameplate has been offered Down Under.
