Audi R8 jumps the starter's gun in Paris
Audi has unveiled its long-awaited production supercar on the eve of the Paris motor showThe Le Mans inspired Audi R8 has an all-aluminium body, a mid-mounted V8 FSI engine with a sequential gearbox, quattro four-wheel drive with optional adaptive dampers and ceramic brakes.
The Audi R8 carries a price tag of about $200K and is aimed at "people who want to own the most well-crafted, precision objects," says the company.
