Audi Sport teases six new RS models for launch in 2019
High-performance division's shadowy teaser includes two all-new additions to the RS line-upAudi Sport has posted an image on its social media channels that teases the six remaining RS models it will launch globally in 2019, including two new additions.
By process of elimination, two of the SUVs pictured will be the RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback that have already been seen testing ahead of their launch.
The next obvious RS model that's in the pipeline is a replacement for the RS 7 Sportback based on the new A7 range.
Set to be powered by a plug-in hybrid variant of car-maker's 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, the new RS 7 will rival cars like the BMW M8 Gran Coupe and could come with an astronomical 522kW, if rumours are true.
Also lurking in the shadows is the new RS 6 Avant wagon that, again, will come powered by the division's mighty twin-turbocharged V8 with power that could hover around 450-500kW.
Finally, the large SUV pictured on the far right is almost certain to be the forthcoming RS version of the new Q8 that will make full use of the new plug-in V8 powertrain.
It's not clear, but the sixth car pictured is thought to be an updated and facelifted version of the current RS 4 that could come with more power from its twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6.
The new RS models are expected to make their official debuts at both September's Frankfurt motor show and the Los Angeles motor show in November.
