Audi teases pure-electric Vision GT Concept
Shadowy tease said to preview new concept for Gran Turismo game but could be a toe-in-the-water for an all-new Audi supercarAudi has released a teaser image of a wild new race car that's claimed to harness its latest pure-electric e-tron powertrain technology.
Created for gamers to race on Gran Turismo, the new concept looks like it has been designed for the racetrack.
Featuring a large front splitter, ultra-low ride height, aggressive rear diffuser and huge adjustable rear wing, the new concept is unlikely to ever translate into a real production car.
However, the advanced all-wheel drive electric powertrain could, say some commentators, preview the next-generation R8 supercar.
More details will be revealed when the Vision GT is revealed on Gran Turismo on April 9.
