Mercedes-Benz has issued teaser images via social media for the autonomous (self-driving) show car it's preparing to unveil at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week.
The prestige manufacturer has previously revealed it was working on a concept that would preview its future technology aiming to take human error out of the equation for private transport. Other than the illuminated badge in the grille, little more is known about the new vehicle, although the show car has been seen camouflaged in Germany. Under the wrapping it appears to be a 'one-box' package in a sweeping design with outrigger-style front wheel arches and a full-width tail light cluster.
Enthusiast site worldcarfans.com has reported that the car will be powered by an electric drivetrain.
