The Chery Stockman ute order book has officially opened in Australia, with customers now able to reserve the brand's upcoming diesel-hybrid dual-cab ahead of first deliveries scheduled for February 2027. Early buyers are also being offered a $2000 Bunnings gift card and three years or 45,000km of complimentary servicing as part of a pre-launch reservation campaign.
The reservation launch effectively confirms the Stockman's arrival timeline, with deliveries beginning from 1 February 2027. While Chery had previously indicated a late-2026 launch was likely, the reservation program suggests the newcomer has slipped into early 2027, broadly in line with expectations.

Chery Australia has officially opened reservations for the much-anticipated Stockman, giving customers an opportunity to secure a place in the queue ahead of the ute's showroom arrival.
The diesel-hybrid dual-cab is expected to become one of the Chinese brand's most significant Australian launches to date, expanding its local line-up into one of the country's most hotly contested segments.
To encourage early reservations, Chery has partnered with Bunnings to offer buyers a $2000 gift card alongside three years or 45,000km of complimentary scheduled servicing.

According to Chery, the partnership reflects the Stockman's positioning as a work-and-play dual-cab designed to suit everything from job sites to weekend adventures.
"Opening reservations for the Stockman marks an important milestone for Chery in Australia," said Chery Australia chief operating officer Lucas Harris.
"We've had a phenomenal response to the Stockman since the first announcement, and the reservation program gives customers the opportunity to secure their place ahead of the official sales launch, while also receiving a valuable pre-launch offer."
Chery says the Stockman represents another major step in the expansion of its Australian business as it enters the lucrative ute market for the first time.
Pricing, detailed specifications and final launch information remain under wraps and are expected to be announced closer to the ute's showroom arrival.
The opening of reservations provides the clearest indication yet of the Stockman's Australian arrival plans, with customer deliveries now scheduled to begin from 1 February 2027.
As carsales previously predicted, that timing means the Stockman has shifted beyond its originally anticipated late-2026 launch window and will instead arrive during the opening months of 2027.
More details on the diesel-hybrid ute, including pricing, model grades and full specifications, are expected in the coming months.
