The 2025 Renault Koleos range has just regained an all-wheel drive option, with the new flagship Techno in showrooms now, priced from just under $40k.
For a limited time, the entry-level Koleos Evolution (from $34,990 before on-road costs) will be offered with a sharp driveaway pricing of $36,990 .
The new Koleos Techno – available in front- or all-wheel drive – is priced from $39,990 (FWD) and replaces the outgoing Intens grade as the range-topping option in the French brand’s medium SUV range.
Powering the new Technos is the same 126kW/226Nm 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine as the rest of the range, mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Renault quotes an average combined fuel consumption figure of 8.1L/100km the front-drive Techno, while the 4x4 is said to use 8.3L/100km – both figures are unchanged from the Koleos Intens.
In fact, beyond a fresh 19-inch wheel design, nothing much has changed beyond the nomenclature.
Standard equipment across the Techno grades includes 19-inch alloys, LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, an eight-speaker Arkamys sound system, and an 8.7-inch portrait-style infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, and digital radio.
Safety and driver aids across the Koleos range include autonomous emergency braking (AEB), blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and tyre pressure monitoring.
