Honda adds freebies to tempt buyers
Free registration and third party insurance on all Accord, CR-V, City and Civic sedans purchased in November and DecemberHonda Australia is throwing in registration and compulsory third party insurance on Accord, CR-V, City and recently updated Civic sedan models in November and December in a move to entice customers into showrooms.
The manufacturer’s relatively new mid-size Accord can be had for $31,490 (manufacturer's list price) with a manual transmission and flat paint. CR-Vs can now be purchased for $27,490 (MLP) with two-wheel drive, a manual transmission and flat paint, undercutting the Ford Kuga Ambiente, Toyota RAV4 and Mazda CX-5.
Buyers of Honda’s slow selling light sedan, the City, could reap the most benefit from the offer, with the base manual VTi priced at $16,490 (MLP). offering a $4978 saving over the equivalent Toyota Yaris sedan and on par with the Ford Fiesta.
The Civic is now available from $19,490 (MLP) in VTi trim with a manual transmission, making it significantly cheaper than Toyota’s ever-popular Corolla.
