Honda is the latest company to announce retail incentives during the lead-up to the end of the current financial year.
2013 models represent particular value, with Honda offering to absorb the on-road costs for the petrol CR-V and throwing in extended warranty and premium roadside assistance. The extended warranty provides coverage for up to five years or 140,000km, whichever comes first. Honda claims that the added warranty cover and roadside assistance are collectively valued at $1700, and both are also provided free for buyers of 2014 model CR-Vs.
For 2013 model year Civic Sedan (barring the Civic Hybrid), Honda is promoting the choice of a 1.5 per cent finance deal with zero deposit, or the combination of the extended warranty and premium roadside assist. This same deal is also available for the Jazz range, excluding the Jazz Hybrid. Additionally, the 2013 Civic sedan is priced from $20,490 for the VTi sedan with flat paint and manual transmission – including on-road costs.
The 1.5 per cent finance deal (with zero deposit) open to 2013 Civic and Jazz buyers is also available to buyers of Accord VTi or VTi-S, who alternatively can elect to have a $1500 rebate.
"June is the biggest selling month of the year," said Honda Australia Director, Mr. Stephen Collins. "Now is a great time to take advantage of the deals and get behind the wheel of a brand new Honda."
The sales program will conclude from June 30.
