As promised, the Australian order book for the 2022 INEOS Grenadier has officially opened today, meaning buyers can now configure and order their two- or five-seat off-roader.
According to INEOS officials, the $800 deposit paid during the reservation period – October 21 to May 18 – is completely refundable until the sales contract is signed.
“The straightforward Grenadier model line-up is easy to configure with a wide range of options and accessories,” a brand spokesperson said in a statement.
“Depending on the market, the Grenadier is available as a two-seat and a five-seat Utility Wagon for those needing a stripped back off-road vehicle, and as a five-seat Station Wagon with pre-configured Trialmaster and Fieldmaster editions inspired by Belstaff.”
The local Grenadier line-up consists of 12 individual variants spanning two body styles and two powertrain configurations with prices ranging between $84,500 and $96,495 plus on-road costs and options.
As we’ve previously reported, full-scale production of the INEOS Grenadier in France is on track to start in July and first Australian deliveries are expected by the end of this year.
However, if you’re keen on a modern off-roader that looks like the old Land Rover Defender you better get in quick, given INEOS said late last year it had already received 1000 Aussie pre-orders for the Grenadier, accounting for the first year of Australia’s allocation.
