Citroen's all-new C3 hatchback has been leaked on line by French car blog Cocoricauto.com 24 hours before its official launch.
The images that appeared late last night show that the little C3 has morphed into a car that carries strong styling cues from its bigger C4 Cactus sibling.
This means the C3 gets faux-SUV black plastic body cladding, a raised ride height and the firm's trademark Airbump door inserts.
Claimed to measure in at 3990mm long, 1750mm wide and standing 1470mm tall, the new C3 is 49mm longer, 22mm wider but some 68mm lower than the car it replaces.
We'll learn more once the drapes come off late this evening when the small hatch is officially revealed at 3:00pm CET (11:00pm Australian eastcoast time), but it's thought the C3 will share engines and transmissions with the Peugeot 208, meaning the range-topping engine will be the little 1.2-litre PureTech petrol turbo.
Despite being relatively rare on our roads the C3 has been a big success in its native Europe. Since the first generation's launch back in 2002, two generations of C3 sales have surpassed 3.6 million cars.
