Want to win a brand new B-Class? Race against Carsales and you can.
We've decided to hand-craft our very own track at Carsales.com.au, the technical Carburgring, and want to know what you think (we're quietly confident it'll be a smash hit and probably win its own awards, perhaps a BAFTA).
The major prize for this competition organised by Mercedes-Benz is a new generation Mercedes B-Class, but on top of that there's another $24,000 worth of prizes, such as desktop computers from HP, Sony PS3's with the Gran Turismo 5 racing sim videogame, Mercedes-Benz wrist watches, Apple iTunes vouchers, and even a special edition Mercedes-Benz racing bike.
So how do you win? Start by setting a fast lap time on the car race, just scroll to the bottom of the page. But rather than just getting the fastest lap times, the "Race Around the Web" competition will award prizes to participants who race on the most number of tracks.
You could essentially crunch and crash your way around the amazing Carburgring and still be eligible for prizes -- so long as you race on other tracks.
To go into the prize pool, five initial 'Championship' tracks designed by 'Benz must be raced in addition to as many others as you can find in cyberspace, and the official tracks can be found at the Race Around the Web website.
The promotion ends on September 9, 2012, so if you feel like having a little fun, just scroll down and follow the game instructions.
