If the kids are looking for something to do over the summer holidays, Toyota may have just the ticket.
The Japanese manufacturer is hosting an international art contest whereby children under 15 years of age are encouraged to submit their design for a new car.
Five winners from three age groups in Australia will be selected to win a $200 Dick Smith voucher, with the most imaginative entrant eligible for a trip to the awards ceremony in Japan in August 2012.
Toyota says the contest is part of its global commitment to the future, as it aims to help children around the world develop their creative expression.
Children are invited to submit a drawing of their “Dream Car” in any artistic medium, including all types of paint, coloured markers, crayons, chalk and more.
Full details are available at www.toyota.com.au/dream-car. Entries close 29 February, 2012.
