The 2023 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Opera Unica has been created as a one-off special-edition to commemorate the famous Italian supercar marque’s 60th anniversary.
Created by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam bespoke division, the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Opera Unica is said to have an all-new ‘crystal effect’ paint job that took an incredible 370 hours to painstakingly apply.
The new finish is said give the effect of frozen liquid and involves blending three different blue hues.
Starting with a darker Blu Aminis as a base, painters then applied Blu Grifo and Blu Fedra by hand, drawing inspiration from the marine landscapes and colours of Sardinia.
A matte black contrasting finish is then applied to the wheel-arches, roof, fog lamp casings, side sills, front splitter and rear diffuser.
Inside, the blue theme continues with Blu Delphinus leather that combines with blue Alcantara.
Other special touches include replicating the stunning outside finish on the start/stop switch cover. Finally, there’s an ‘Opera Unica Porto Cervo 2023’ commemorative plate.
The Opera Unica is one of 1499 Huracan Sterratos Lamborghini plans to build, but there’s no pricing or details been given for this one-of-one special-edition.
Once all launched, the current Huracan will bow out and make way for an all-new hybrid-powered replacement that will arrive next year.
It will swap out the 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 for a twin-turbo V8 that will borrow its electrified technology from the latest V12 plug-in hybrid Lamborghini Revuelto.
