Renault Australia has announced that it will extend the capped price servicing agreement it began last year across its entire passenger, sport and commercial vehicle line-up.
The programme is inclusive of all new and ex-demonstrator Renault vehicles for the first three years of ownership. Vehicles excluding Kangoo, Trafic and Master will now offer a fixed servicing fee of $299 (incl. GST) with commercial model servicing capped at $349 (incl. GST) per interval. To qualify for the scheme, vehicles must have been purchased after January 1, 2013.
All Renault vehicles have a scheduled service interval of 12 months or 15,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.
Renault Australia managing director, Justin Hocevar, says the capped price servicing programme coincides with the importer’s plan to extend its network of authorised dealerships in 2013, growing from 19 to 31 outlets.
"I am thrilled to be introducing capped price servicing across the entire Renault range," said Mr Hocevar.
The Renault Australia chief said the brand has now "addressed and removed all of the real and perceived barriers to purchasing a Renault" which makes the French brand "attainable to a vast number of Australian new car buyers".
"We were the first European manufacturer to offer a five-year/unlimited kilometre warranty on our passenger cars, and in 2012 we introduced an approved used vehicle program to help with controlling the resale and residual value of Renault vehicles.
"Now, with our new Capped price servicing program, we are making good on our promise to deliver peace-of-mind and certainty across the whole-of-life ownership experience," said Mr Hocevar.
