The replacement for Renault’s Espace people-mover – a Toyota Tarago rival that is not sold in Australia – appears to have been revealed ahead of its world debut at tomorrow’s Frankfurt motor show opening.
Pictured here for the first time in a leaked studio image is a sleek wagon concept featuring a striking grille, rear ‘suicide’ doors and an extension of the new 208 GTi’s unique C-pillar treatment.
The concept car is the sixth instalment in chief designer Laurens van den Acker’s ‘Circle of Life’ design portfolio, which commenced in 2010 at the Paris motor show with the Renault DeZir concept.
Renault says the concept embodies its vision of “premium motoring” for future products and that the ‘Paris Initiale’ brand will commence in 2014, initially as a moniker that will be applied to new upmarket variants of Renault models.
