Inspired by the almost endless personalisation options available to create your own Bugatti, a new custom configurator now allows Bugatti owners and lovers to match an ultra-luxe champagne case with a re-imagination of a Mistral, Bolide, Divo or Chiron. Each La Bouteille Sur Mesure champagne case contains iconic elements of its inspired model namesake, capturing the essence of Bugatti vehicles.
La Bouteille Sur Mesure has launched less than a year after the creation of the one-of-one La Bouteille Noire, a 15-litre bottle of Champagne Carbon vintage housed within a sculptural case inspired by the Bugatti La Voiture Noire.
Around 150 hours were devoted to creating the finished product which was expertly crafted by Bugatti partner IXO. A total of 314 individual sheets of prepreg carbon fibre, the same as the material found in Bugatti’s hyper sports cars was used. While its cooled interior was lined in the same fine-grain Havana brown leather used in the Bugatti La Voiture Noire.
Innovative technology also runs through each build of the new Champagne cooler with the option for buyers to install an automatic solid-state thermodynamic cooling cell, the same technology found in orbiting satellites in space. Together with 14 high-end fans circulating cool air inside the case ensuring the precious champagne is kept at the perfect temperature, this is not just any old champagne cooler.
The near-infinite level of customisation extends to the carbon fibre bottle found inside the case, with exclusive materials used including the world’s first photoluminescent forged carbon fibre bottle. Customers will also be able to select from a range of Champagne Carbon’s finest vintages to include within their La Bouteille Sur Mesure.
The Champagne Carbon For Bugatti Collection of vintages has previously included the ?B.01, a 2002 vintage made from 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, ?B.02 a 2006 vintage Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru and the ?B.03 a 2013 Blanc de Blancs. The La Bouteille Sur Mesure has not had a price quoted for it, but it is safe to assume that it will command a typically lavish price tag just like its Bugatti inspiration.
