Bugatti has unveiled a new line of luxury items, including a modular lounge with a ‘loveseat’ and a 1970s-inspired ‘Bugatti Blue’ sofa, which could be yours for just a fraction of the price of an actual Bugatti.
Created alongside high-end Italian furniture maker, Luxury Living Group, Bugatti’s latest pieces to grace us are now available across Luxury Living’s network of 300 retailers spread globally, ranging from desks to ottomans, and armchairs to dining tables.
Not to mention the aptly named ‘Chiron’ sofa.
Naturally, everything is designed and built using only the finest luxury materials. Think open-pore oak, metal elements, cashmere, wool, and leather.
Said to encompass a blend of cutting-edge craftsmanship techniques, simple elegance, and meticulous attention to detail, the new collection has been revealed in the gardens of Palazzo Chiesa during Milan Design Week, which runs from April 15-21, 2024.
The entire display is said to draw inspiration from Ettore Bugatti’s original Orangerie glasshouse, where guests are ‘welcomed in a 19th century edifice’, which of course starts with the most exquisite piece, the Bugatti Mistral roadster.
New to the range, is the Type 1 leather modular sofa, loveseat, and chaise lounge, said to be inspired by the Italian manufacturer’s ‘beauty and beast’ hypercar design philosophy.
Perhaps more an acquired taste is the ‘Bugatti Blue’ sofa, dubbed Type 3, which is said to deliver supreme comfort and a striking aesthetic, featuring deep folds inspired by couches from the 1970s.
It’s also available as an armchair, chaise, and ottoman.
Meanwhile, the Type 4 dining table blends a sheet of glass atop chrome aluminium legs, each bent and bridges by a curved glass insert. The Type 5 chairs designed to accompany the minimalist table are made of carbon fibre and hand-painted with liquid aluminium metal.
WFH? The home office is sorted too, with the Type 7 desk, with an integrated and ‘nearly invisible’ drawer unit.
